Jon is joined by Dr. Jospeh Maroon. He’s a clinical professor and vice chairman of the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In addition to being a renowned neurosurgeon, he is a sports medicine expert, the team neurosurgeon for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the author of multiple books and an Ironman triathlete. In fact, at 80 years old he just finished another ironman where he placed first in his class. Funny story about that which you’ll hear in the episode.

This episode is all about improving your health… from increasing longevity, to reducing inflammation, how you can heal your body and your brain, and much more. It’s fascinating because Dr. Maroon doesn’t just talk about the concepts, he shares much of what he himself does and recommends based on the latest research.
